Luciano Regatto
Born and raised in Morelia, Mexico, Luciano is a passionate cinematographer deeply in love with film and photography. His drive to tell stories and express his vision has taken him across the world, expanding his creative horizons in countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, and Spain. Through this journey, he has developed a distinctive cinematographic language rooted in the intimate interplay of dark lighting, character, and narrative — a trifecta he believes is essential to a complete audiovisual experience.
Luciano holds a Bachelor's degree with honors in Communication (2023) from Universidad Latina de América (UNLA), where he earned one of only two global exchange placements to study at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC) in Spain.
In 2024, he completed a postgraduate program in Cinematography at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in Barcelona, and also took part in their Fast Forward specialization in DaVinci Resolve – Color Grading.
His earlier education includes several diplomas (2018) from the Escuela Activa de Fotografía (EAF) in Mexico City, where he studied Digital Photography I & II, Portrait and Studio Lighting, Product Photography, High Fashion Photography, and Photography Business.
Starting his professional journey at a young age, Luciano has already established himself as a high-end filmmaker, collaborating with global brands such as Google Arts & Culture, Baker McKenzie, Top Doctors LATAM, and the British Council Mexico. Driven by creative ambition, he continues to refine his craft and develop his voice as a Director of Photography.
